With every new hip twist and every different knee angle, I’m teaching myself to forget you. My body will forget the way it used to drape its legs over you while we watched TV. It will forget the way its fingers twitched while talking to you. It will also forget the way it relaxed at the sound of your voice. I will force my body to experience new angles and new sensations.
